Hey girls, tongue scraping is part of my daily routine. I do it in the morning and evenings before I go to bed. My aunt taught me to start with it when I was 14 years old. She told me that it has to do with Ayurvedic practices. According to Ayurvedic practices a thick and unpleasant coating on your tongue is a poisonous residue (toxins) of undigested food and can cause bad breath as well as store up a lot bad bacteria. Eating will be a more tasteful and fulfilling experience after you scrape off this unpleasant coating in the morning, which you should do every morning to experience all tongue scraping benefits.
In the morning right after you have woken up, you should scrape your tongue. These are very inexpensive and they come in a v-shape. It can be a metal tool, but mine is plastic. And no! Don’t brush your teeth with your toothbrush! You will relocate the bacteria and they will get stuck in your toothbrush.
I want to sum up three reasons why you should use a tongue scraper each day.

There are many more reasons to use scrape your tongue in the morning but the fresh and clean feeling should be enough reason in and of itself.
