Nothing beats a homemade pasta sauce. And you know what? It really does not take that long to prepare and it’s way more healthy than the cans in the store. The fun thing about the home made pasta sauce is, you can give it your own twist.
I will teach you how to make pasta sauce from fresh tomatoes and herbs. So, let’s start with the first part.
6 garlic cloves
5/6 big leaves of basil
8 big tomatoes
Four tea spoons of italian seasoning
Two tea spoons of paprika powder
Half a cup of red wine
One tea spoon of thyme
Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend it.
Box of bacon bites, for the salthy taste (optional)
3 garlic cloves (yes I love garlic!)
Two big table spoons of olive oil
One tea spoon of black pepper
Fry the garlic with the bacon bites in the olive oil, until it’s crunchy.
Add the sauce and let it cook until it’s thick enough.
Half way through cooking the sauce, add some fresh parmesan cheese. It depends on how “cheesy” you want the sauce to be. I added two thick slices of the parmesan.
When your sauce is ready, you can add minced meat or veggies. Now you know how to make pasta sauce from fresh tomatoes.
