How making sauce from fresh tomatoes for an Italian pasta dish?

One of my favourite dishes is just whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce. When I was a student I always made pasta sauces from a jar. Nowadays I never buy a jar of pasta again. It is healthy, fast and extremely tasty to make it at home. Now I will give you the recipe for making sauce from fresh tomatoes.

Ingredients for making sauce from fresh tomatoes:

  • 6 red tomatoes
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 red bell peper
  • 2 garlic gloves
  • 1 scallion
  • 1/5 onion
  • Olive oil
  • Dried rosemary
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh thyme
  • Some chili flakes
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Parmezan cheese
  • Dried garlic chips (optional)

Preparation

Fry in the onion and scallion with garlic in hot olive oil for 2 minutes. Add 6 red tomatoes to it and the bell pepper, 1 tea spoon paprika powder, 1 tea spoon dried rosemary, ½ tea spoon black pepper and ½ tea spoon salt. After 10-15 minutes. Blend this all with a hand whisk.

Cook the pasta ‘al dente’

Add the sauce to the pasta and garnish it with fresh thyme, add the parmesan cheese and a little bit of chili flakes as well as a bit of dried garlic flakes (optional). Adding a bit of fresh truffle oil on top will add a special flavor. If you don’t have this at home, don’t worry, use olive oil instead.
