I am completely in love with the Italian cuisine. Last week I was out of cooking ideas. I mostly cook at home, as I like to know exactly what it is I eat. I don’t fancy going to restaurants too often, and would rather invite people to my home and cook something nice and fresh! This Is how I discovered the best gnocchi sauce recipe.
I remember that I ate gnocchi years ago and really wanted to make it myself. It is a great alternative to pasta. Gnocchi are soft dough dumplings that are mainly made from wheat flour, eggs, and potatoes.
I googled some nice recipes and got some inspiration. I decided to choose several ingredients from each nice recipe I saw. I made gnocchi in a cream sauce with spinach, mushrooms, basil and gorgonzola. It tasted very good and had a real Italian flavour. For me it’s the best gnocchi sauce recipe ever.
